Rundle House is a purpose-built rental community in Canmore, Alberta, managed by PEKA Property Management ("PEKA", "we", "us", or "our"). If you reach this website by clicking one of our Google Ads listings, Google adds a click identifier (a "gclid") to the web address. If you then submit the inquiry form, we record that identifier together with the date and time of your inquiry, which form you used, and the suite you asked about. We use this only to measure which advertising produces genuine inquiries, by reporting the conversion back to Google Ads. We do not store your name, email address or phone number alongside the click identifier, and we do not use it to track you across other websites or to build an advertising profile of you.
A formal tenancy application — which is collected separately, outside this website, at a later stage — may include employment, income, and rental-reference information, along with credit and reference checks conducted with your separate, explicit consent. We do not collect that information, payment card numbers, banking details, or government identification through this website.
Like most websites, our hosting and service providers automatically record limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of access. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and reliability.
We use the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) on this site to measure whether our advertising
produces inquiries. The tag loads from Google on every page you view and sets its own cookies in your
browser (typically named _gcl_*) to remember that you arrived from one of our ads. When you
submit the inquiry form, the tag reports a single "conversion" event to Google Ads.
We use this only to measure our own advertising. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, to run remarketing or retargeting, or to show you ads elsewhere, and we do not send your name, email address or phone number to Google. Google acts as an independent party for this data and processes it under its own privacy terms. We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry. Advertising click identifiers are kept only until the conversion has been reported to Google Ads and no longer than Google’s import window allows, after which they are deleted. Where we later use your personal information to make a decision that directly affects you — for example, assessing a formal tenancy application — we retain it for at least one year afterward, as required by Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act, so you have the opportunity to request access to it. Where a tenancy proceeds, your information is kept as part of the tenancy file for the period required by applicable tenancy and tax laws.
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These include encryption of all website traffic using HTTPS/TLS, access controls limiting who can view submissions, and selecting reputable service providers.
